Hi, I'm Youssef, the creator of Serve. I built Serve to help development teams save hours building APIs by quickly generating them. This page will outline the data we collect and why we collect it.
The data we collect
The data we collect from you includes:
- your full name and email address when you sign up
- your database credentials when you use a SQL-based integration
- spreadsheets that you share with Serve's service account when you use the spreadsheets integration
- airtable credentials including your personal API key when you use the airtable integration
- questions and feedback you leave, including your email address when you contact us at joe@withserve.com
What we do with your data
All the data we collect from Serve is strictly for the application's functionality.
We will not:
- sell, share or rent any of your data to any third parties for any purposes
- We will only ever provide data to the government if it be required by law to do so (fraud prevention, money laundering, or any other criminal activities)
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics to collect data about how you use Serve. This includes your geographic location (country and state).
Google Analytics tracks:
- the pages you visit on Serve
- how long you spend on each of our website pages
- how you got to the site
How long we keep your data
We hold on to your data as long as:
- it is required for the purposes stated in this policy
- We will keep your email data until you've proven to be an inactive user for at least 90 days
Your rights
You have the right to request:
- information about how your personal data is processed
- a copy of all your personal data that's stored in our systems
- that your personal data is deleted from our systems if there's no longer a justification for it

This policy is deemed effective as of June 28th, 2022. Changes to this policy will apply to you and your data immediately. Any changes made in the policy will be in green for a week, then officially announced to be part of our privacy policy after that week has finished.
If these changes affect how your personal data is processed, our support team will take reasonable steps to let you know.
